Rules & Regulations
The Greyhound® North America Discovery Pass gives you unlimited travel for one low price. This is a summary of some of the rules and regulations that pertain to pass travel. Further information or a complete list of rules may be found at your departing location.

Pass travel is good on Greyhound Lines schedules and those participating bus companies listed as follows: Arrow Lines, Inc; Arrow Trailways of Texas; Badger Coaches, Inc.; Bonanza Bus Lines, Inc.; Burlington Trailways; Capital Motor Lines; Capital Bus Company ; Colonial Trailways; Dattco, Inc.; Delta Bus Lines, Inc.; Fullington Auto Bus Company; Greyhound Canada Trans. Corp.; Greyhound Lines, Inc;Indian Trails, Inc.; Industrial Bus Lines, Inc.; Jefferson Lines, Inc.;John T Cyr & Sons, Inc;. - The Discovery Pass fares named herein are shown in both US dollars and cents and are payable in lawful United States money or its equivalent, and in Canadian dollars and cents and are payable in lawful Canadian money or its equivalent.
- Passenger may travel no more than three (3) round trips between the same two (2) cities during the term of the pass.
- Tickets are honored daily.

No reservations are accepted for pass travel however, Priority Seating may be purchased.
You may reserve a seat on a specific schedule ahead of time by purchasing Priority Seating. For an extra $5 (plus applicable taxes), you can pre-board and select the seating of your choice. Note Priority Seating is currently only available at select locations and must be purchased at counter. For a list of Canadian locations, click here. For a list of U.S. locations, click here. Note that purchased Priority Seating is only valid for first portion of the trip up until a transfer point.

For travel beginning in Canada, Canadian or US passengers must purchase passes online no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the start of travel to ensure receipt of the pass by mail. For travel beginning in Canada, International passengers must purchase passes online no later than twenty-one (21) days prior to the start of travel to ensure receipt of the pass by mail. A maximum of five (5) fares may be purchased during a single online purchase. Tickets issued for Discovery Pass travel are available at selected terminals and agencies in the U.S. and Canada.

Standard cancellation penalty of 20% applies to all passes submitted for refund.

All refunds must be processed before the printed start date on issued pass or ticket.

If any portion of the pass has been used, no refund will apply.

Please keep a copy of your ticket purchase for your records.

For International purchases, any unused pass may be refunded through the International Agency from which the ticket was purchased.

Travelers are responsible for providing proper documentation to customs officials when crossing international borders. Should entry be denied to an individual, Greyhound, its partners, or affiliates will not refund any monies.
- Greyhound is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.
- Passes are not valid on charter, commuter, or casino transportation.

All other applicable rules and regulations for transportation on Greyhound Lines, Inc., its subsidiaries, and participating bus carriers apply
to excursions using the North America Discovery Pass.
- Prices are subject to change.
- Ferry transfer tolls between Vancouver Island and Vancouver are only included when traveling onboard Greyhound's regular scheduled service. Foot passengers will have to pay Ferry toll.

Effective June 1, 2009 all U.S. citizens entering the United States at sea or land ports of entry are required to have documents that comply with the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI), most commonly a U.S. passport, a passport card, a trusted traveler card such as NEXUS, SENTRI or FAST, or an enhanced driver's license. Greyhound Lines, Inc., Greyhound Canada Transportation Corporation and other bus lines honoring the North America Discovery Pass (hereinafter
referred to as "Carriers") are not responsible for any failure by participating vendors to honor a discount coupon or the value offer set therein.
Carriers shall not be responsible for any incidents or damages occurring as a result of the services offered or otherwise provided by the vendor. The coupon
and/or offer therein has no cash or refund value.

Except as responsibility may be imposed by law, Carriers will not be liable for delays caused by accidents, breakdowns, bad conditions of the
road, storms and other conditions beyond the carriers' control, and do not guarantee to arrive at or depart from any point at a specific time. The
time of arrival at and departure from any point shown in published time schedules is the schedule Carriers tries to maintain, but is not guaranteed.
- Except as responsibility may be imposed by law, Carriers will not be responsible for lost or stolen tickets.

Passes are non-transferable and, if presented for transportation by any person other then the one for whom originally purchased, will be void and
may be confiscated by an Agent or authorized employee of any Carrier over which the ticket is issued.

In issuing tickets and checking baggage for travel over the lines of other carriers, the issuing carrier acts only as an agent and does not assume
responsibility for transportation over the lines of other Carriers, except as may be imposed by law with respect to baggage. In the sale of interline,
through transportation of passengers across International Boundaries, the initial carrier assumes no liability for the transportation by, or the act and
neglects of other carriers, beyond such International Borders.

Carriers will not be liable and do not assume responsibility for death or bodily injury to passengers incurred in transportation over the lines of
other carriers.
- To the extent there is a conflict between the foregoing rules and regulations, and applicable tariffs, the tariffs of Greyhound Lines, Inc. and participating carriers shall apply and control.
